Early Awareness Program-provides infromation to students to help them prepare for and attain postsecondary education whether it be two year, four year or technical school. Goal setting, prioritizing and awareness of tools to help them reach their goals are provided in classroom setting as well as field trips to local colleges. Whatever their choice, a happy and successful life is our goal!

Early Awareness Activities-these programs help younger students in grades 6th through 8th understand at an early age the benefits of graduating from high school and continuing on to higher education. Early awareness helps students prepare for this journey, both academically and financially.

The Early Awareness Program Advisor assists students with:

Setting personal academic goals by implementing better study and organizational skills
Scholarship searches
Skills assessments
College and career planning
Accessing free educational websites
Educational field trips
College visits
Diversity training
Life skills training, i.e., economic and goal accomplishment satisfaction as a result of college, career and lifestyle choices
