| I am Janice Collins (now Janice German). I
live in Maryland now; I've been here almost 24 years. After graduating from Ironton High School, I went to and graduated from Bethesda Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinnati, Ohio. After passing State Board for Registered Nurses, I practiced nursing at Lawrence County General Hospital in Ironton, then went to Cleveland before returning to Cincinnati, Ohio, and being a part of the Operating Room Staff at Children's Hospital Medical Center. In December 1974, I married Roosevelt German, moved to Maryland and except for a 9 month tour with my husband in Saginaw, Michigan, have been here since. I have a son, Larry Taylor, by my first husband, and a daughter, Jennifer German, who is in Law School at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. This is a brief synopsis of my life.....I have retired from nursing, but was able to work for 32 years before retiring. I am a born-again Christian and an active member of St. Charles Church of the Nazarene.
