| After graduation I worked at Lawrence County General Hospital
until 1964. Moved to St. Petersburg, Florida where I started a 35 year career in retail sales. In 1966 I moved to Long Island, NY, continuing in sales. In 1963 I married Janice Ferrell of Ironton. Divorced in 1964. Janice died in an accident in 1991. We had one daughter, Betty Jean, in 1964. Betty died in 1992, leaving two wonderful sons. In 1966 I married Patricia Hennessey of NY. We're still married, believe it or not! We have a daughter, Laura, born in 1970, who is a systems engineer here on Long Island. I am very active in my local United Methodist Church where I am a Certified Lay Speaker and President of the Board of Trustees for over 15 years. My hobbies of chess and reading are still with me from Ironton days, but I now also do & sell scenic oil paintings. Mrs. Humphreys, can you believe that?
