Ironton City Schools Foundation

The Ironton City Schools Foundation was formed by concerned alumni in 1993. The intent is to provide a lasting, external source of funding for Ironton’s public schools that would meet a wide range of needs.

Foremost in the minds of the founders was the desire to afford the best educational opportunities to the children of Ironton and their teachers. This support may come through many avenues: academic scholarships, grants to attend special instructional workshops or seminars, funding for extraordinary classroom materials and school libraries, or support for physical improvements in schools, among others.

There can be no greater legacy for Ironton than a permanent fund, designated solely for the purpose of encouraging exemplary education for future generations. The Ironton City Schools Foundation offers parents, grandparents, and all citizens of the community, an opportunity to contribute to our schools in a way that will have impact far into the future.
