Ironton High School held its annual 2018-2019 student elections. Each class voted for a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, ASB Boy, ASB Girl and Homecoming Attendants. Then the student body as a whole had an opportunity to listen to speeches and vote for Student Council President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.
All the students elected will now take on the monumental responsibility of representing, governing, and managing their respective areas of student government. The Student Council takes on the task of organizing and setting up all of the Homecoming festivities, Christmas Food Baskets, as well as other various types of drives and fundraisers. The rest of the year is up to how the Student Government wants to be remembered during their term of office.
