The Ironton City Schools recently held our annual spelling bee. The competition involved students from the fourth to the eighth grade. The 2018 participants were Nick Bryant, Hope Freeman, Riley Winters, Evee Gallion, Briar Gregory, Lilly Lewis, Khamil Martin, Natalie Carter, Alexis Littlejohn, Rileigh Malone, Hunter Freeman, Danielle Leonard, Dylan Walden, Anna Davis, Alyssa Jones, and Jake Kinkade. The champion was Lilly Lewis and runner up Dylan Walden. They will represent our district in the county spelling bee in December. Congratulations to all our spellers!
