Certified and Classified Staff

 

The Ironton City Board of Education will provide certified and classified staff as necessary to meet the needs of students served, and will be based upon the laws of Ohio and the Rules and Regulations of the Ohio Department of Education.

 

The staff will be recruited, employed, assigned, and provided inservice education without discrimination on the basis of age, color, national origin, race, sex, or handicapped.  The staff members shall be assigned responsibilities in accordance with written descriptions commensurate with certification and qualifications.  Each member shall hold the appropriate certificate with respect to assigned position.

 

Certificates shall be on file in the Administration Building, where Policies will be made available upon request for same.
