Evaluation of the Superintendent of Schools
In compliance with the provisions of O.R.C. 3319.01 the Ironton City Board of Education shall evaluate the Ironton City Superintendent of Schools annually. This evaluation shall be completed by February 1, of each year.
The Ironton City School’s Evaluation Form Number One will be used for the purpose of evaluating the Superintendent of Schools by the Board of Education. Each member of the Board will receive this form by January 11 of each year and will complete same, as per instructions, and bring completed form to a closed conference between the Board and Superintendent in the offices of the Board at a time mutually agreed upon.
At this evaluation conference all parties present will have full opportunity to review the forms, share ideas and thoughts, discuss the evaluation in detail, average the point scores, summarize the results, and prepare an official evaluation report. The latter document shall serve to fulfill the State requirements as listed above, and to clarify strengths, weaknesses, successes, etc. of the Superintendent and this school system.
