Child Custody Orders

 

A.  At the time of first entry into a school in the Ironton City School District, all pupils must present a  

     certified copy of a child custody order or decree, or any modification to them, if any custody orders or 

     decrees have been issued.  Such decree or order should allocate parental rights for the child and  

     designate a residential parent and legal custodian of the child.

 

 

B.  Whenever a child custody order or decree is issued, the custodial parent must notify the principal of the

       child’ school by providing a certified copy of the order or decree.  The custodial parent also must 

       provide to the principal a copy of any modifications to a custody order or decree.
