BOARD POLICY  5115.1

 

Supplying Students With Written Information on Illicit Drugs,

Counterfeit Controlled Substances, Look-Alikes

 

                It shall be the policy of the Ironton City Board of Education to inform its students of the serious personal and legal consequences of the use, sale, and/or possession of illicit drugs, counterfeit controlled substances, and/or look-alikes.

 

                The Board, therefore, directs the Ironton City Superintendent of Schools to supply appropriate written materials on this matter to the students in the Ironton City Schools, with particular attention to

Am.  H.B. 535 and O.R.C. Sections 2925.01 and 2925.37 as required by Ohio statues.  The same shall be done by June 1, 1983 and once each year thereafter.
