BOARD POLICY  5122.1

 

Participation of Handicapped Students in the Competency Based Education Program

 

                The Ironton City Board of Education hereby makes it a policy that the participation of individual handicapped students in the Competency Based Education Program, will be determined by the student’s IEP Team.

               

                The IEP Team may recommend that the student is to:

(1)     participate in all areas of the program, or

(2)     participate in part of the program, or

(3)     may be excluded from participating in the program.

The recommendation is to be recorded on the student’s IEP.
