Scholastic Honors

 

                That the Board of Education grant the following scholastic honors according to the following specifications, that is intended that these honors be printed on all programs and printed rosters of the Class and to become a part of all official records; and further be it directed that an appropriate certificate be secured, if possible, and awarded to the students at the time of receiving the diploma.

 

 

                Cum laude ( with honor) – Full “B” or better, 3.00 – 3.499 point value

 

                Magna cum laude ( with great honor) – “A” to full “A” or better, 3.50 – 3.999 point value

 

                Summa cum laude ( with highest honor) – Perfect, all “A” average, 4.00 (perfect) point average
