Early Graduation Policy

 

                The comprehensive curriculum of Ironton High School offers to the student a broad spectrum of courses as well as the opportunity to benefit from enrichment of depth.  Within four years the student can fulfill the requirements for graduation with a sound base for future endeavors.  The student with particular and unusual needs may apply for early graduation, provided all requirements for graduation as mandated by the State of Ohio and the Ironton City Board of Education are fulfilled.

 

                A high school diploma shall not be issued more than one year ahead of the members of the class in which the applicant would have graduated.  Parents will be expected to make full use of the school’s counseling services before submitting their application to the principal of Ironton High School.
