Missing Children Information Programs

 

A.      The Ironton City Board of Education will request copies of materials developed or acquired by the Ohio Department of Education for the purpose of developing information regarding missing children. (Missing Children Clearing House,  R.C. 109.65)

 

B.       The Board may develop a fingerprinting program for students and minors in the district.  If used, such

programs will be developed in conjunction with law enforcement agencies having jurisdiction within the district.  No child may be required to participate and their participation must be approved by parents or other responsible person.

 

C.       Principals will require school photographers to provide one free wallet-sized photograph of each pupil

for inclusion in the student’s file.  The principal can make this part of the contract.

 

D.      The district will develop information programs for students, parents, and community members relative to missing children issues and matters.
