Accidents. Injuries, Illness

 

                All accidents or injuries of a serious nature to any student or member of the staff is to be reported to the principal of the school to which the injured belongs.  If the injury or accident occurred during the regular school hours or at any activity sponsored by the school, the principal of that building is to exercise  his best judgment in seeing to it that the injured’s parent or guardian is notified and that prompt and immediate action is taken to properly care for the injured person.  The principal of every school must keep accurate records of all serious accidents and injuries in connection with his/her school program.  All students who become ill at school are to receive prompt attention of the school personnel in charge, keeping in mind that the health and safety of the children shall be the school first and foremost consideration.
