Adoption of Policies

 

                The Ironton City Board of Education shall make such rules and regulations as are necessary for the government of its employees and pupils of its schools, and all other persons entering upon its school grounds or premises.  (ORC  3313.20)

 

                The Board’s primary function is that of policy-making and the function of the administration to execute, carry out, implement  this policies with written administrative rules and regulations.  The need for strong, reasonable, and enforceable policies and procedures is imperative if an administration is to be effective.
