Applying for a Position

With the Ironton City Schools


If you are a current employee:

Individuals who are currently employed in the district will need to send an email or letter of interest to Dean Nance, Superintendent.

If you are not currently employed with the district:

Individuals who are not currently employed with the district will need to submit the following information:

  • a written declaration of interest
  • completed application
  • resume
  • applicable certification
  • transcript

Once the above information has been submitted, an applicant will only be required to submit a written declaration of interest for each future posting that they wish to be considered for.  It is the responsibility of the applicant to keep their application/ information up-to-date once it has been submitted.  All applications will be kept on file until June 1.  After June 1 it will necessary to resubmit the required information listed above.

Compliance with these stipulations will assure that you will be appropriately considered for the position that you express an interest in.  Failure to comply may jeopardize your opportunity to be considered.
